LOW-DOSE L-ARGININE IMPROVES INSULIN SENSITIVITY A recent study1 tested the proposition that low-dose intravenous L-arginine supplements might improve insulin-mediated vasodilation and insulin sensitivity in patients with Type 2 diabetes (NIDDM, non-insulin-dependent diabetes mellitus).
