AGELESS PRIORITY™ supports the proper function of your nerves and blood vessels, kidneys, lungs, eyes, skin, liver and arteries. This formula assists in slowing down and minimizing the effects of advanced glycation end products (AGEs) by supplying a proper mix of the nutrients needed to reduce AGEs.

Advanced glycation end products (AGEs) are a group of compounds formed through a reaction between sugars and proteins or lipids. This process is known as glycation and is part of normal metabolism. The accumulation of AGEs is accelerated as we age and this corresponds with many health complications associated with aging.

When sugars react with proteins or lipids, a series of chemical reactions occur, leading to the formation of AGEs. These reactions involve the binding of sugar molecules to amino acids in proteins or to lipids, resulting in the creation of stable, complex structures. AGEs can accumulate within cells or circulate in the bloodstream and gradually accumulate in tissues over time.

AGEs have been implicated in many age-related complications. AGEs contribute to tissue damage by promoting oxidative stress and inflammation, and by altering the structure and function of proteins and lipids. AGEs can also bind to certain receptors on the surfaces of cells, which can start inflammatory pathways and cause more damage to the tissue.

Age, diet, high blood sugar, oxidative stress, and impaired kidney function are just a few factors that can affect the formation and accumulation of AGEs. Lifestyle modifications, such as maintaining a healthy diet low in processed sugars and engaging in regular physical activity, may help reduce the formation and accumulation of AGEs. Additionally, certain medications and antioxidants have been investigated for their potential to inhibit AGE formation or mitigate its harmful effects.
