For years, the jury has been out on multivitamins. One study shows they are beneficial and help reduce certain health risks, while another says multivitamins act as a placebo. With the constant flip-flopping, it can be difficult to determine the truth, but finally a study has shown that multivitamins may in fact aid cancer reduction.

According to an article published in Jama 2002 “suboptimal intake of some vitamins, above levels causing classic vitamin deficiency, is a risk factor for chronic diseases and common in the general population, especially the elderly. Suboptimal folic acid levels, along with suboptimal levels of vitamins B6 and B12, are a risk factor for cardiovascular disease, neural tube defects, and colon and breast cancer; low levels of vitamin D contribute to osteopenia and fractures; and low levels of the antioxidant vitamins (vitamins A, E, and C) may increase risk for several chronic diseases. Most people do not consume an optimal amount of all vitamins by diet alone.”

JAMA has concluded another study that used data from a sample of almost 15,000 male physicians that were shadowed for more than 10 years. The study results showed a daily multivitamin could reduce the risk of cancer by 8%. It may seem like a small percentage but with so many new cases diagnosed each year, 8% comprises hundreds of thousands of people. Also, the 8% are not the only people affected positively. Think about the family members and friends who could also benefit from such a reduction.

Multivitamins help in filling in the gaps left when it comes to dieting and living a healthy lifestyle, you are your own worst enemy. With such a fast-paced world, knowing what’s healthy and what isn’t can be confusing. Of course, we all know fast-food restaurants and those deliciously fried food aren’t healthy for us, but they are quick and easy. The problem is that those foods and many others don’t always supply us the right amount of nutrients to stay healthy. In fact, one would have to eat an extensive amount of food, and thus negate those healthy benefits. So, multivitamins help balance everything out and One-Per-Meal Lifeguard™ is one such product.

One Per-Meal Lifeguard is packed with over two-dozen nutrients to help battle free radicals (naturally produced toxic waste within the body) which damage the immune system, and thus can lead to more health risks.  Antioxidants target the free radicals and help reduce them to provide a stronger immune system and a healthier you. After all, it’s much cheaper to purchase a bottle of a high quality multivitamin for a month’s supply rather than accumulating expensive medical bills. Make a proactive choice today to create a healthier you by adding a multivitamin to your diet and save time and money at the same time. I guarantee that buying a high quality Lifeguard will be the cheapest insurance policy for your health and well-being.
